•Solarize Sandhills: Tax Credits - Sustainable Sandhills and NC Warn on how to join a solar panel buyers' cooperative in the Sandhills and receive state & Federal tax credits.
•Clean Energy Hacks - The community is invited to present unique clean energy solutions built from everyday items.
•Biofuels & Biodigestion - Alternative fuels and local producers, including the Biodiesel 4 School program.

The Sandhills Clean Energy Summit convenes a keynote and series of panels to develop a vision for an energy-independent North Carolina. This Summit is a gathering place for Sandhills community residents, professionals, environmental & renewable energy businesses, green tech high school and university students to learn more about cutting edge clean energy practices in solar, wind, biodiesel, and methane recapture.

We explore how clean energy is growing in the Sandhills, utility innovations and net metering for homeowners interested in generating their own energy, and where future energy developments can work for the benefit of our community.

R Burger Food Truck will be on site from 11AM-1PM selling their specialty North Carolina menu lunch concessions starting at $2.50. R Burger embraces delicious food and green business practices by stocking fresh produce, recycling their aluminum cans and used cooking oil.
